Lorain Community College
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon at Lorain Community College, where I learned more about GLIDE, Great Lakes Innovation and Development Enterprise.
GLIDE represents a partnership between the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce, Lorain County Community College and the Lorain County Commissioners to promote innovation in the region. It represents a valuable model that can be replicated across Northeast Ohio. We will be exploring this issue with a follow-up meeting in the next few weeks.
Also met with GLIDE about a year ago. Think they are doing good things with innovative thinking about Lorain County opportunites. Throwing a thread out there makes sense for regional collaboration.

I just happened to find your Blog by chance. Sorry if I have nothing to do with your efforts and if I interrupt, but I just wondered if you all know abour Ray anderson and Interface Carpet? I suppose you do. I was in London last month at the Bethechange 2005 gathering. I heard Ray Anderson and then read his book Mid-course correction and found it very stimulating particularly his views on the 2nd Indusrial Revolution.
Just to let you know in case it helps your most valuable initiative
Good luck
