Study: Wind power can reduce Colorado energy costs

Requiring wind power will slightly reduce Colorado's energy costs over the next 20 years, according to a recently released report.

The report is based on energy-price forecasts and renewable-portfolio standards. The forecasts come from modeling the 20-year-future on retail electric prices against the predictions for the costs of renewable energy.
