Study: Wind power can reduce Colorado energy costs
Requiring wind power will slightly reduce Colorado's energy costs over the next 20 years, according to a recently released report.
The report is based on energy-price forecasts and renewable-portfolio standards. The forecasts come from modeling the 20-year-future on retail electric prices against the predictions for the costs of renewable energy.
In Europe there is currently an wind energy revolution going on.
Germany has increased its use of wind energy in 2006 by 26%!
This is a huge example that deserves following by other nations.
